Renters Market

Renters Market is a short but lushly-illustrated point-and-click adventure game about trying to rent a haunted apartment in Toronto. You are a giant. You and your rat roommate are attending an open house for a suspiciously cheap apartment that you cannot afford.

Scour the house for evidence with which to blackmail the landlord into lowering the rent, while convincing the other prospective tenants not to put in an offer.

Luckily, the house is haunted by the ghost of a recent murder victim. Excellent! Unfortunately, they can’t remember any details about their death, so you’ll have to investigate to prove both the landlord and foul play were involved.

Unluckily, one of the other prospective tenants is Cynthia, a plucky young exorcist, determined to lay to rest any spirits she may come across. You’ll need to work quickly to collect and tamper with evidence before she stumbles across it, and before the apartment is rented to someone else.
